My full name is Dr Francesca Nancy Burge, but I am knownto all as Nancy.
My AHPRA no. is MED0001970973 and my ABN is 3093169125
I graduated from University College, London in 1982 and worked in Brighton until I moved to Scotland in 1997. I lived and worked on the Isle of Skye for 17 years, and my last practice was a remote rural practice in Duvegan. I moved to Perth, Australia in 2015, and gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice within a year of joining the Stirk Medical Group. I am also a supervisor of UWA medical students and doctors training to be GPs.
I work at Stirk’s 32 Newburn Road Surgery in High Wycombe.
I enjoy the diversity of general practice and the challenge of keeping up with new developments and practicing evidence-based medicine. I am interested in all aspects of general practice, including managing complex and chronic medical conditions, and I have a special interest in sexual health for both men and women including contraception counselling, and insertion of contraceptive devices (Mirena and Implanon).
I am a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and am passionate about providing evidence-based advice for women about peri-menopause and menopause management. I believe this expertise should be easily accessible to all women and you can book a consultation to discuss perimenopause and menopause at Stirk’s 32 Newburn Road Surgery in High Wycombe.
Another aspect of my practice is providing consultations regarding Voluntary Assisted Dying, a legal end-of-life option in Western Australia, available for eligible adults with advanced, terminal illness, enabling them to choose the timing and manner of their death via self-administration or practitioner administration. You can book an appointment for this and there is more information at

As an LGBTQI affirming and kink-aware GP I provide sex positive non-judgemental care, at all times respecting the confidentiality and individuality of my patients. I have good listening skills which makes it easy for patients to open up and be helped towards better health.
